Yahoo Adds Voice Search to iPhone App

Yahoo recently added voice-searching capabilities to its iPhone application. The app now lets users perform searches by speaking their queries rather than typing them. Yahoo also said that is is abandoning plans to port its current iPhone mobile app to other smartphone platforms (as it had planned to do). In a note to developers, Yahoo said it would continue work refining its current mobile application only for the iPhone. Yahoo will, however, continue to support other phones via the browser and may create other mobile applications for devices such as BlackBerries at some point in the future.

Wow!!! That's a bold move from Yahoo to be focusing on just the iPhone. So I guess, that's where the money is for them.
