The developers at Mozilla have made a new Alpha version of its Fennec browser for Windows Mobile devices available for download. The new version of the mobile browser has a few improvements compared to the previous release. The user interface is now based on CSS, it has support for add-ons, and a new gesture module is included. It is available only for the HTC Touch Pro.

why bother?

y dont they just quit the project!
they are so far behind!
do we really need another browser?
there' opera mobile, netfront, iris browser, and soon opera mobile turbo!
Why not? Tech gets stale with that type of attitude. I've messed around with the browser and its really nice and touch friendly.

You do realize this is an Alpha version.

Alpha version means partially functional, but not near finishing yet. Beta version means functionally complete, but not ready for public.

Ehh..

Opera still runs a bit better in my opinon.
-Slower
-Looks graphically worse in pan in or out
-unable to load pages in which opera does.

Comon Mozilla! I know you can do better, cant wait for a final version.
Err typo.
