i had this same problem with metro a while back

Guess its just a matter of a large growing number of subscribers..hope it gets fixed soon.
No it isn't. It's due to the Nextel's network handling of text messages through MMS instead of a true SMS gateway. Hit up any Nextel forum and you can find multiple entries through the years complaining about text messaging.

Well Darn It, You all!

So I was like, this Boost Mobile thing is tomfoolery. I'm texting my woman-friend Mary and she replied to me "Darn, I have not received your text message!" I said "that is tomfoolery" and she said "Bluecoyote, will you cut the malarchy?" And I told her to be quiet because she is a woman of dubious intentions. Long story short, Boost Mobile's resolution of their customer woes has not been satisfactory given my economic standing in the world.
🤣 ROTFL. Hope this one's ok.
