Sprint Loses Another Round in Fight Against iPCS

Sprint affiliate iPCS has been granted another victory in its lawsuit against Sprint Nextel. iPCS sued Sprint because it believes the partnership Sprint has with WiMax provider Clearwire violates an agreement that Sprint has with affiliates. iPCS is hoping to block Sprint from receiving any benefits from the partnership in areas where iPCS re-sells Sprint services unless those benefits are shared with affiliates. An Illinois judge is permitting the lawsuit to move forward. Sprint had hoped to have the lawsuit dismissed.

shouldn't they just merge?

I figure in economic times like these it's the natural time for mergers. Shouldn't iPCS and Sprint just do a stock swap and merge up?
Well, I think they would only merge if it benefited iPCS. It would help Sprint, but not necessarily iPCS in which case, they probably wouldn't.

ipcs is screwing things up for the customer in those regions

Ipcs only sells sprint devices. They already shut out nextel in those areas so those who need the direct connect are screwed..and who doesnt want 4g? come on IPCS stop being greedy, let us have some of that good stuff that sprint is offering.
