Verizon Offers BlackBerries Better Account Control
Verizon Wireless has made a new application available to several BlackBerry models that allow them to access user account information. The My Verizon app lets users check balance, usage, make payments, view calling plan, adjust features, reset voicemail password and even locate Verizon Wireless stores. The application is free to download and supports the BlackBerry Curve 8330, Pearl 8130 and 8830 World Edition.
PayPal Reaches BlackBerry 10 Devices
PayPal has made a version of its mobile application available in the BlackBerry World app store for devices running BlackBerry OS 10.x. With this new app, PayPal is available to Android, BlackBerry, Fire OS, iOS, and Windows smartphones.

Verizon Wireless today announced that its customers can send Starbucks eGift cards to one another from within the Verizon Messages application. The application lets users pick a background, amount ($5, $10, or $25), and enter a short message.
Verizon Brings WiFi Calling to iPhone Via Message+ App
Verizon Wireless updated its Verizon Message+ app for iPhones, adding the ability to make phone calls over WiFi. In order for WiFi calling to work, Verizon iPhone owners will need to switch on the advanced calling function of their phone.
