Opera Lands Virgin Mobile USA as First U.S. Carrier Contract
Today Opera Software announced that Virgin Mobile USA will begin distributing its mobile browser on phones. Opera Mini will be available as a free application download on select Virgin Mobile USA devices via the VirginXL download storefront. Moving forward, it will be pre-installed on new phones. The download will be available to eight different Virgin Mobile USA handsets beginning April 14.
Virgin Mobile USA Relaunches As An iPhone-Only Carrier
Virgin Mobile USA, which is owned and operated by Sprint, transformed itself today into new provider much more closely aligned with the Virgin brand. Significantly, Virgin Mobile USA is now an iPhone-only carrier, meaning Apple's iPhones are the only phones Virgin will sell moving forward.

Opera today said its Opera Mini web browser is now available as a stable release for Windows Phone. The browser had been available as a beta for several months.
Virgin Mobile to Sell iPhone X Starting November 10
Virgin Mobile USA today said it will offer customers the Apple iPhone X starting November 10. The company will accept preorders beginning November 3, which happens to be the same day the handset reaches Apple retail stores and those of Virgin's owner, Sprint.
