Verizon Wireless Confirms Netbook Plans
Verizon Wireless spokesperson Brenda Raney has confirmed that the company plans to sell subsidized netbooks (with a wireless data contract) by the end of June. She didn't provide further details.
Verizon Once Again Offering 10GB and 15GB Plans
Verizon Wireless has resumed offering two large data plans for shared lines at a promotional rate. The first costs $80 per month for 10 GB of data and the second costs $100 for 15 GB of data.

Verizon Wireless today confirmed to Phonescoop that it plans to charge customers $20 to upgrade to new devices beginning April 4. The fee will apply to customers who buy handsets with installment plans, or buy phones at full price.

Verizon has informed employees that it plans to reduce the number of regional offices around the country and correspondingly reduce headcount. The company has 20 regional locations, which it plans to pare down to just six.
