Pointui Home 2 Re-Shades Windows Mobile
Users interested in drastically changing the appearance of their Windows Mobile Professional (touch-based) user interface can use the newly available beta of Pointui Home 2. This software completely redecorates the screens and menus of Windows Mobile, supports high-resolution displays and is user configurable. A free beta of the software is available now with limited features. Pointui says a full version will be available soon.

Opera today said its Opera Mini web browser is now available as a stable release for Windows Phone. The browser had been available as a beta for several months.
T-Mobile Outs Windows 10 VR Phone From Alcatel
T-Mobile today listed the "Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 VR" on its web site. The unique version of the Idol 4S not only runs Windows 10, but sports many of the upgrades available in the related BlackBerry DTEK60, such as the high-end Snapdragon 820 processor, 21-megapixel camera, and USB Type-C connector, none of which are in the standard Idol 4S.
Microsoft Releases Edge Browser for Android and iOS, Launcher for Android
Microsoft today made a beta version of its Edge browser available to Android and iOS devices. The beta, available to registered Windows Insiders, requires users to initiate the signup process through a Windows 10 PC.

Samsung is allowing owners of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to experience an early look at its Nougat builds through the Galaxy Beta Program. The program is meant more for Samsung's benefit than that of end users, as it will use feedback generated by beta users to improve the experience and reliability for all users.
