Nokia's Webmail on Ovi Now Live
The webmail version of Nokia's Mail on Ovi service is now live in beta form. Webmail provides an application for managing an ovi.com email account, an address book for storing contacts, anti-spam and anti-virus controls, and a low-bandwidth version that works when broadband isn't available. The service offers 1GB of online storage.
Twitter's Periscope App Powers Live Video Streaming

Yahoo Adds Gmail Support to Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail today gained the ability to manage Gmail and Google Apps accounts. Yahoo relaunched the app in October and made it compatible with AOL, Hotmail, and Outlook.
Facebook to Support iPhone's Live Photos
The Facebook iOS application now lets users upload, share, and view Live Photos captured with the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. Live Photos debuted with the newest iPhones from Apple earlier this year.

Google Improves Gmail's Spam Filters
Google today detailed some behind-the-scenes updates it is making to Gmail that should reduce the amount of spam people see in their inbox. Google said the spam filter now uses an artificial neural network to detect and block spam that could be well-disguised as wanted mail.
