Sprint has approved version 4.5 of the BlackBerry platform for the BlackBerry 8130 Pearl and 8330 Curve. The new software enables a wide range of new features, including: the ability to send MMS messages via Picture Mail; view emails in HTML format; look up other people's calendar availability and remote search for older emails no longer stores on the device itself (requires BES 4.1); better SureType performance for the Pearl; automatically generate music playlists by any criteria; view attached video recordings; and attach voice notes to MMS.
