Acer to Launch Smartphone at Mobile World Congress

Computer maker Acer has sent invitations for a press conference that it plans to hold at the Mobile World Congress event on Barcelona next month. The invitation specifically says that Acer will be launching a smartphone on February 16. The invitation doesn't provide any details about the upcoming phone, but Acer did buy E-Ten in 2008. E-Ten makes the Glofiish line of smartphones, which run Windows Mobile.
