Cellular One Intros New Nationwide Unlimited Plan

Today Cellular One announced a new calling plan. The All of America plan includes nationwide unlimited voice calls and text messaging with no roaming or long distance charges. The plan costs $80 per month. Cellular One has roaming agreements with AT&T and T-Mobile.

I thought Cellular One was gobbled up by AT&T last year. 🤨

Dear Confused,
Cellular One is the former Chinook Wireless in Montana and Wyoming. A separate market of Cellular One was purchased by AT&T.

Cellular One is a franchise name that anyone can pay to use.
It was developed about 25 years ago as a way for rural or none B carriers to have a larger presence.
It is only used by a very small handful of independents now.
