Google Brings 'Earth' to the iPhone

Today Google announced that it is offering Google Earth for free to iPhone users through the iPhone Apps Store. The application allows users to interact with 3D maps.

it's nothing to write home about.
Yay that's awesome, google is offering so much stuff for iPhone by the pace next will be android on iPhone and screw the g1 with it's bad 3g network...

Seeing as how such a phone doesn't exist yet, this question is moot.

NO, because you just won’t get the same experience on the G1 because the screen is not multitouch in order to interact with the map.
Also when need to type something, you gotta flip the phone sideways and due to absence of accelerometers...
