Apple is transitioning users from its .Mac system to the new MobileMe system. The process is taking longer than expected and Apple users are reporting that they've been unable to access either their .Mac accounts or MobileMe accounts. This includes being locked out of their email, with some saying they've been unable to get email for over 24 hours. Apple has not said when the issue will be resolved, and it could affect those who may be purchasing new iPhones over the coming days.
