Google Adds Bus and Train Directions to Maps

A new version of Google Maps for Mobile includes bus and train directions for over 40 North American cities. The new version will work with BlackBerries and other Java-based phones. The download is free.

no Windows Mobile... yet

Sometimes companies are too clever for their own good. Despite the fact that I can easily run Java apps on my Tilt, I'm not allowed to download anything but the Windows Mobile native version of Google Maps for Mobile because they so cleverly detect my device and helpfully point me in the "right" direction... no matter how many different ways I try to get around it.

How hard would it be for them to add a link that says "Need a different version?"
this is very true....however it is nice that they decide to think of people who ride the trains and buses. like im from chicago and public transportation is a big thing. CTA....ride the EL 😎
Is there something wrong with the WM version of Google Maps?
