ZTE Launches Two Tri-Band CDMA Phones

Article Comments

Apr 1, 2008, 9:47 AM   by Eric M. Zeman

ZTE USA has introduced two new phones for the U.S. market. Both are tri-band CDMA with AWS, supporting the 800/1700/1900 frequencies. The C78 and C79 are, however, limited to CDMA 1xRTT wireless data speeds.

ZTE did not announce pricing or carrier distribution for these phones, but given their tri-band CDMA support they are likely bound for MetroPCS or Cricket.
