NTT DoCoMo Hits 250Mbps Downloads with Super 3G

NTT DoCoMo is in the midst of testing faster wireless data technologies and recently achieved 250Mbps downloads via what it calls "Super 3G". DoCoMo has been working on this technology, meant to bridge 3G and 4G systems, since 2006. DoCoMo hopes to have its Super 3G systems operational by 2010.

Apple has revealed the iPhone 15 series, which moves to a USB-C connector and brings several key features from last year's Pro models to the more-affordable standard models. These include the pill-shaped sensor cutout in the display that Apple calls Dynamic Island, a brighter display that can reach 2000 nits, a 48 megapixel main camera, and the A16 Bionic processor chip.

T-Mobile phones will soon display a new icon in the status bar to indicate when they are connected to 5G in a higher frequency band that offers faster data speeds. Qualcomm has just announced the two chips that will power a great number of entry-level and mid-range Android phones in 2023: the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Both chips integrate a 5G modem and include upgraded performance as well as new features compared to the chips they replace.

Wouldnt 4g be out by then? If so then i dont see the point really

no it won't. 4g might be done from a devolpment standpoint but no way deployed by then. Wimax will be but its not technicly a 4g network according to the info. LTE won't be deployed fully probably until 2014 is my guess.
