Live from HTC's big summer press conference in London. Details of the new Hero phone with the new Sense UI. With hands-on impressions and photos.

Last year saw the launch of the Touch Diamond and the TouchFlo 3D interface, which ushered in a new era of hardware and software design for the company. Now they are launching Sense, a new UI concept evolved from TouchFlo, and the new Hero smartphone, using Sense on top of the Android OS.
Read on for the details of these new products.

release
Is there any talk as to what a release date may be and what carriers may pick it up in the U.S.
will this phone have 3G 850/1900 bands?
i saw on gsmarena.com that it will, but it also says it for the htc dream (g1).
The first versions - for Europe and Asia - probably will not. There will be a version for North America by the end of the year, though.

Sense is HTC's version of the Android OS
