just a play...

I'm guessing that this is just a play on Qwest's part, to get better terms from Sprint. They know that Sprint is hurting and needs the business. Also Qwest had stated that their main dissatisfaction is that they are losing revenue from their wireline business, so *somehow* they want more revenue from wireless. Well how is teaming up with Verizon going to get Qwest more revenue, when it is likely that Verizon will be charging them more than Sprint ? Its just as likely that this is all a negotiation ploy to get Sprint to give them better terms, and thus... give Qwest better revenue margins.
I was thinking the exact same thing, in all reality, its might be in both Sprint and VZW to let them fail, then each along with the two other major carriers pick up a portion of their customers with far more lucrative post paid plans. Even more so fo...

Ed Mueller came out and said he is unhappy with Sprint. Access to equipment and coverage area.

It is possible that Ed is using it as a ploy to bully Sprint into a better deal. However, I don't think Sprint is going to be able to satisfy Ed's deman...

Quest Who cares

What good is a company that sells service that is not even theirs. The problem is most of the customers they get, nobody else would want. They should stick to what they do best? Stay out of the reseller business.
the problem is- what is it that they really do best? the customers they get for landline service- dont have much choice for anything else.. the wireless customers they get either are customers dumb enuf to get snared like flypaper or those who dont ha...

I will tell you right now why consumers would be happy about this. $17.00 bundle discount off published monthyl wireless cost.

For example if you have the 450 Single line with VZW right now, if you were to add this to your Qwest Bundle* you would ...

Another blow to Sprint?

Seeing Qwest now partners with Sprint, does this mean that Qwest is dumping Sprint for VZW??
Sadly yes. Either Sprint is going to be the quite little child that reads books and is all alone, or they are going to be the brainy child that grows up and is very big. I would hope they would turn around. As you can see they are trying to become mor...

Not sure how much of a blow this will be to Sprint. Qwest Wireless (as of last I heard) only had about a million subscribers. That doesn't take a huge bite out of Sprint's numbers as they are not counted towards their numbers. Plus they don't see a...

While it may not be the biggest loss in revenue, it is more bad coverage for Sprint. They've had lawsuits, horrible churn rates, horrible CC, negative growth, etc. This is just one more thing to cause people to either:

A. Jump ship

or

B. Not...
