Today T-Mobile announced the addition of the Samsung T739 Katalyst to its line-up of HotSpot @Home-capable phones. The Katalyst is a titanium-finished slider that has quad-band GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth radios on board. It also has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, speaker-independent voice recognition, and users can store up to 2GB of media in the microSD slot. Customers can use the Katalyst to roam between cellular and Wi-Fi networks during voice calls. It will be available starting December 10 for $79.99 with new two-year agreement.

another samsung?

another samsung? come on... we need nokia and SE
complete with all the basics trimming including a lackluster 176x220 screen. I'm mean $hit, they could have at least put QVGA on it.

I've played with the phone....

Its not much different then the T-629 that I own. A lot smoother and more sleek then the T-629. The only problem I have is that the menu's seem a little older, the fonts are bigger and it seems closer to nokia menus.
