T-Mobile Launches Samsung Katalyst
Today T-Mobile announced the addition of the Samsung T739 Katalyst to its line-up of HotSpot @Home-capable phones. The Katalyst is a titanium-finished slider that has quad-band GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth radios on board. It also has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, speaker-independent voice recognition, and users can store up to 2GB of media in the microSD slot. Customers can use the Katalyst to roam between cellular and Wi-Fi networks during voice calls. It will be available starting December 10 for $79.99 with new two-year agreement.

Software Update Lets Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note8 Owners Disable Bixby Home Button
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note8 smartphones can now modify the behavior of their handset's dedicated Bixby button. The hardware key, located on the left edge of the phone, automatically calls up Bixby Home with a short press or Bixby Voice with a long press.
T-Mobile and MetroPCS to Sell Samsung Galaxy On5
T-Mobile today said it and its prepaid brand MetroPCS will kick off sales of the Samsung Galaxy On5 later this month. The On5 is an inexpensive Android smartphone with a 5-inch 720p HD display, 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front camera.
Samsung Adds Galaxy A7 to A Series Lineup
Samsung today announced the Galaxy A7, the largest of the three A Series handsets. The A7 features a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED screen and a slim, metallic design.
Google Home Speaker Now Bluetooth Compatible
Google updated its Google Home speaker with the ability to connect to Bluetooth devices. The search giant first announced the feature at its I/O developer conference earlier this year and has just now enabled the functionality.
