Google Officially Announces Intent to Bid in Spectrum Auction

Today Google said that it is definitely going to take part in the FCC 700 MHz auction that begins on January 24 of next year. Google will bid on the "C" block of spectrum, which is the block set aside with open access rules. The deadline for declaring intent to bid is December 3. Google said it will file the necessary paperwork with the FCC on Monday. It will be bidding alone, without any partners.

yea it looks like google is gearing up to do big thinks. This is a company that we got to be watching closely!
