Nokia Licenses Vibration Feedback

Immersion today announced that Nokia is the latest licensee of its VibeTonz technology. VibeTonz provides variable vibration feedback for touchscreen interfaces, games, ringtones and other phone related uses. Nokia's CTO recently announced the company is looking into touchscreen interfaces and it is likely they licensed VibeTonz for use in such a case. Samsung and LG already have integrated VibeTonz into select handsets including touchscreen models, and Motorola uses a similar technology on the RAZR2.
