The FCC site revealed details on a new Ogo device from IXI with a quad-band GSM/EDGE radio and Bluetooth. It carries over the original Ogo's make-up compact design, and has a narrow external display, large internal screen, stereo speakers and full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard has shortcut keys to messaging and other applications. It also has a scroll wheel to the left of the keyboard, and an 8-way D-pad on the right side. The Ogo2.0 is primarily a messaging device, and syncs with POP3 and IMAP4 email accounts. It uses customizable attachments to add other features, such as a Bluetooth handset, a 2-megapixel camera, and a bottle opener. Swisscom will be carrying the Ogo2.0 and U.S. CDMA carrier Revol announced it will add the Ogo2.0 to its line-up this summer.

Bottle Opener

Seriously. I want this phone SOOO bad now.

Only for the bottle opener. If I can get the GSM version for T-Mo .. it's over.

Actually, the dual thumbwheel thing is cool too, but I really want that bottle opener.
Okay...
I agree...
I would pretty much buy any phone with a bottle opener.

Even the iphone

Ogo 2 RANT/RAVE!!!!

WOW!! I thought I was the only person that remembered the original OgO. You can't even find a good pic of one on Google nowadays. But how is a follow up to the original OgO not gonna launch on the carrier that birthed it, at&t? But, with all that being said, this isn't something to be excited about. Not... at... all... ☹️

interesting..

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn't the original ogo discontinued, including the service for it?

As I recall, the ogo was basically a phone line, you actually had a phone number, you could text and email unlimited, but could not make any calls.

I wonder what will be different this time around, and which carriers will be selling this device.
