Sony Ericsson Shows New High End Phones For US

Sony Ericsson today announced its first 3G phone for the US as well as its first slider bound for our shores. Both phones feature Bluetooth and 2 Megapixel cameras and a Memory Stick M2 slot.
- Z750: Looks like a US version of the Z610 clamshell Sony Ericsson released late last year with quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band HSDPA, making the Z750 a prime candidate for Cingular. Features a mirrored exterior with a monochrome screen hidden beneath. Also features a customizable RSS ticker on the home screen and Exchange synchronization.
- W580: A small, 14mm thick slider with Walkman functionality. Quad-band GSM/EDGE with a pedometer and FM Radio. (Not to be confused with the W850 Walkman slider for Europe.)
Nokia Adds 3G and US Support to Retro 3310
HMD Global today announced the Nokia 3310 3G, an updated version of its retro feature phone announced earlier this year. The new model is slightly larger and has a new interface, but externally looks like the 2G version of this year's 3310.
Sony Xperia L1 to Hit North America in April
Sony today announced the Xperia L1, an Android smartphone that will reach American shores as soon as next month. The phone features a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

Sony today said it plans to bring its Xperia X range of handsets to the U.S. market beginning in June.
