Update Adds My Faves To Sidekick 3

T-Mobile has begun pushing out an update to all Sidekick 3 owners that will make their devices compatible with My Faves plans. The update includes a My Faves application to choose numbers for the calling plan as well as other improvements to the software. Users will finally be able to quickly call or message contacts from the address book, save picture attachments from email to the phone's gallery, and see a character count in the SMS compose window. The updates begin today and will be pushed out to all Sidekick 3 users over the next month.

OnePlus has begun pushing a system update to the OnePlus 5 smartphone that should make improvements to the camera. OxygenOS 4.5.10 targets the camera by reducing photo noise, improving stability, and resolving noise and texture when recording 60fps video.

Google today said its G Suite customers will soon be able to take advantage of active hyperlinks in Gmail and Inbox that simplify the process of sending emails or making calls. Both mobile apps will convert text, such as phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses, into interactive links.

OnePlus has created a patch for a bug that impacted the OnePlus 5 handset's ability to call 911. Some OnePlus 5 owners reported that calling 911 forced their handset to reboot, thus ending the in-progress 911 call.
