Sony Ericsson Launches 4 New Phones for US

Sony Ericsson unveiled a slew of new phones today, including several with GSM 850, ideal for the US market:
- W610: This quad-band GSM Walkman music phone includes TrackID music recognition, a feature that lets the user record a clip of an unknown song onto their phone and receive a notification of the name, artist and album. The phone also includes an FM radio with RDS, 2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, stereo Bluetooth 2.0, EDGE data, and USB mass storage mode. A 512 MB Memory Stick M2 is included with the phone. Coming in orange or black, it will be available in the second quarter of this year.
- K550: Part of Sony Ericsson's new line-up of Cyber-shot phones, the K550 includes a 2.0 megapixel camera with auto-focus, an LED flash, an active lens cover, picture blogging and Adobe photo album software. The phone also has an M2 memory card slot, music player, and FM radio with RDS. The K550 is a quad-band GSM phone with EDGE data and Bluetooth 2.0. The K550 will be available in the first quarter of 2007.
- K200: A basic dual-band GSM phone with a VGA camera and speakerphone. Available in either Metallic Black or Light Champagne in the second quarter of 2007.
- J110: This entry-level dual-band GSM phone includes simplified navigation for easier use. Features include a color display and speakerphone. Available in selected markets from Q2 2007 in three colors: cream, grey or purple.
