Apple has accelerated the pace of releasing fresh builds of iOS in recent weeks. The company typically makes new betas available once every two weeks, but has upped that rate to one per week as the public launch of iOS 11 and other platforms nears. This week saw Apple make iOS 11 Beta 9 available to developers, following Beta 8, which arrived just last week. Apple also released tvOS 11 Beta 9. Apple did not spell out any changes specific to these builds, though it generally resolves bugs and adds minor features with each successive release. The company has not yet made new public betas available based on this code. Apple is widely expected to provide the final details regarding iOS 11 and its other platforms at an event scheduled to take place September 12, where it will also reveal new iPhones.
