HP has announced it will launch a new Windows Mobile phone with Cingular on October 31. The hw6920 series is Pocket PC phone with a 240 x 240 screen and QWERTY keyboard - similar to Windows Mobile Treos. The 6920 series can use quad-band GSM / EDGE as well as Wi-FI for connectivity. The phones feature Bluetooth, IR, a Mini SD slot and built in GPS and navigation software. Don't Bother

I can tell you this..... having owned and sold the unlocked version of this phone (6915), it is very weak in comparison to what is out there today. Aside from the fact that at this point Cingular should not be releasing any smartphone or PDA that does not have UTMS, both the screen resolution as well as the battery life of this unit completely SUCK. The big ol' screen, when combined with 240x240 resolution means grainy, grainy, grainy. Plan on using Direct Push, surfing some websites, making a few calls & taking a few pics? Then you better plan on charging every day. Turn on WiFi & Bluetooth for a while and, well, you better have another battery with you.

HP is so far behind HTC it's not even funny. Once the 8525 is released Cingy is goi...
I agree, this thing is WAY overdue. The 8525 is expected to reaease within a few days of this thing. I know what im getting. Drooling
Just so you know, the 6900 is made byt HTC for HP......
