HTC Touch Diamond

HTC today announced the Touch Diamond, a finger-touch device with a new HTC user interface based on Windows Mobile 6.1. The thin device has HDPSA/HSUPA, a VGA display with auto-rotation, and a custom YouTube application.

TCL just brought three new phones to the US market in its signature 20 series: the 20 Pro 5G, the 20 S, and the 20 SE. As you might guess from the "Pro" in the name, the 20 Pro 5G is the highest-end, filling the role of "affordable flagship".

Samsung today announced its lineup of flagship phones for 2022: the Galaxy S22 series. The top-end S22 Ultra sees the biggest changes as it essentially absorbs Samsung's Note series with an integrated S Pen stylus and a more Note-like shape and design, instead of the Contour Cut design of the other models.

Motorola's newest flagship phone ticks all the standard boxes for a high-end phone, but it also has one totally unique feature: a wide-angle camera with a full 50 megapixel resolution, the same as the main camera. The selfie camera has a similarly unheard-of resolution at 60 megapixel.

Motorola has a new $500 phone and it's kind of a big deal. While Motorola has been successful with more affordable phones lately, not since 2017 have all of the big three US carriers offered a Motorola phone over $400.
