Cricket's existing $50 service plan is improving from 5 GB of LTE data each month to 8 GB of LTE data starting today. The $50 monthly fee still includes unlimited talk and text, taxes included. Existing customers can upgrade online or by visiting a local Cricket Store. Cricket sells monthly plans that range from $30 to $70. People who take advantage of the Auto Pay tool can receive a $5 discount each month.

With Cricket's auto-pay discount, the Basic plan costs $35 per month and now includes unlimited talk, text, and 2.5GB of high-speed data per month (up from 1GB).

Cricket Wireless today upgraded its $50 and $60 monthly plans to include unlimited international calling and messaging to Canada. Customers won't have to take any steps to activate the feature, Cricket is doing so automatically for all new and existing subscribers.
