U.S. Cellular Adds More Data to Plans, But Also Bumps Prices
U.S. Cellular rolled out new Shared Connect plans that offer a pooled bucket of data to multiple lines. All the plans include unlimited talk and text in the U.S. The least expensive option costs $30 per month and includes 2 GB of data. Subsequent choices cost $45 per month for 4 GB, $60 for 8 GB, $80 for 16 GB, or $100 for 24 GB. The latter two plans include unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada. These prices don't include device access fees nor device payments. The new Shared Connect plans are available starting today.

Verizon Debuts $80 Unlimited Plan for Prepaid Service
Verizon Wireless today added an unlimited data option to its series of prepaid plans. According to Verizon's web site, the new $80 plan includes unlimited high-speed service without a contract, though video is capped at 480p and prepaid customers may see slower speeds when the network is congested.
Sprint Debuts Unlimited Plan of Its Own
Sprint today announced Unlimited Freedom, a service plan that provides unlimited talk, text, and data for two lines at $100 per month. Sprint says the Unlimited Freedom plan offers "optimized streaming" for "video, gaming, and music" and "unlimited LTE data for most everything else." Specifically, video resolution is capped at 480p resolution when streamed over the network, while games are capped at 2Mbps, and music is capped at 500Kbps.
