Google today announced an update to its Now On Tap feature for devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Moving forward, users will be able to highlight the exact set of text they'd like to search via Now On Tap. Users can select single words, or sentences, paragraphs, and entire pages for search. Image search is another useful new feature. When viewing any image in any app, users can long press the home button to call up info cards about whatever is in the image. This tool also works when using the camera app. Users can search for whatever is visible in the camera viewfinder. This last feature sort of brings back Google's old Goggles visual search tool. People who have devices with Android 6.0 Marshmallow need only update their Google Search app to make use of these new features.
