$199 with 2 year deal??

๐Ÿ˜ณ That has got to be a typo! I thought the rumored price point for this phone was $500+?
the announcement is now official and it REALLY is 199
...
Remember it's a "SMART PHONE" not a "PDA". I expect to sell a butt-ton of these. Hopefully huge shipemnts are coming in to provide for the masses.
This is true but from what i was informed that pricing is only there if you are able to upgrade and you are getting the unlimited data package if not you will not get that type of pricing at all!!! โ˜น๏ธ

Motorola Help

Ok a many of my questions have been answered in many of these threads. But i just need one thing cleared up.

I have been looking for a personal organizer, but I Dont want to pay way to much for one. Now my thinking is that it would be best if i just buy a PDA or a Smart phone and ill probablly save some money and it would be better not having too many devices to carry around. Now that the Q is going to be released it would be perfect for this. All im looking for is an organizer with a Windows mobile, a keyboard, a nice screen, and of course an intigreated phone.

I do not want a Data plan (at all), i have enough internet access at work, home, and school. I already have a plan on verizon, i want to upgrade and i also have an unlimited tx...

The Thread to Solve all Pricing Questions

Okay ... if you are a new customer or you are eligible to upgrade at the sales price -

2yr = $299.99
1yr = $349.99

If you choose to get the unlimited PDA plan (it is optional, the Q does not require it, nor does the 6700 and the Treo, unlike the Blackberry which does require it), you get a $100 discount instantly through any channel (must be with a 2yr renewal, unlimited PDA plan is non-contractual, but have it on for 4 months because they may trace it and revoke your credit ... it's all about the luck of the draw).

Full Retail = $419.99

If you call into customer service and declared that you lost (or stolen) your phone, your line will be suspended ($20 to get it reconnected). However, you will be eligible for a 25% discount of...

Clarifcation - when I mean reset all dates from 22 months of taking that 25% offer, I meant that your upgrade eligibility and NE2 date will be pushed back 22 months from that day,
You do NOT have to have a data plan to get NE2. You price plan must simply be above $34.99.

25% off full retail is an area program, not available nationwide. It is also specifically for lost/stolen phones. From an internal perspective I'd rather...

Doc viewer?

Rich or Eric... confirm that the announcement mentioned an office doc viewer.

Internal training specifically says it will not ship with any office viewer or editor...
It is supposed to have the Picsel Viewer. Look at the last line on this page... http://www.motorola.com/Enterprise/us/en_us/s olution.aspx?Navigationpath=id_801i/id_2634i/ id_2711i&tabbed=Overview

What documents can be created on this phone?

My understanding is that one will only be able to read existing WinWord documents rather than be able to create or edit them. What types of text (and other documents beside video and pictures) can be created on this phone?
