Microsoft today updated Outlook for iOS with new Skype integration. Outlook already merges email and calendar functionality into one app. Now, users can make any calendar appointment a Skype meeting with the flick of a switch. When the meeting starts, a simple tap in the calendar app will start the Skype call. The refreshed Outlook app also gains a new three-day calendar view. Outlook for iOS is free to download from the iTunes App Store. Microsoft didn't immediately say if or when it might add Skype to the Android version of Outlook.
