Qualcomm has changed the names of two 600 series Snapdragon processors. Specifically, the Snapdragon 620 and Snapdragon 618 will now be called the Snapdragon 652 and Snapdragon 650. Qualcomm says these two particular chips stand apart from the rest of the 600 series due to their X8 LTE modem with Cat 6 support, carrier aggregation, and ARM A72 CPU cores. The processors will ship in new handsets before too long, according to Qualcomm.
