Sprint said beginning November 20, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon customers who switch their number to Sprint will save 50% off their old rate plan. The 50% savings will be available to switchers through Jan. 8, 2018. Sprint is also offering up to $650 in reimbursement for ETFs and other fees, but requires new customers to trade in their old smartphone. The promotion is limited to a maximum of 10 lines per account. Subsidized devices require an extra $25 per month fee. The half-rate plan does not extend to unlimited music/video streaming, data carryover, tethering, or cloud services. Mobile hotspot consumption is pulled from the shared data plan. The discount does not apply to taxes, surcharges, add-ons, apps, premium content, or international services. Discounts vary based on the rates charged by AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Not all competitor rate plans apply. Sprint offered a similar promotion last year.

Motorola Brings More Affordable 5G Phones to its 2024 Lineup
Mar 12, 2024
Motorola has announced the 2024 editions of the moto g 5G and moto g power 5G, priced at $200 and $300, respectively (MSRP, unlocked). Both phones offer 5G, a vegan leather finish on the back, 120 Hz display refresh, 50 megapixel main camera, 5,000 mAh battery, 128 GB storage (expandable), NFC, fingerprint reader (on the side), and a headset jack.
And here I was considering to switch
from Verizon because they just raised their long-time loyal subscribers' grandfathered unlimited data rates by $20 a month and I'm not paying triple-digits a month for a single line...
This is nothing more than their old promotion
The offer before was to cut your bill in half. Now they add T-Mobile (only after they raise their prices) and limit the 50% current plans offered. On top of that, they are all over the place with this sketchy plan. If they give you 50% off Verizon or AT&T, then you will be subject to overages. With T-Mobile, Unlimited data is not eligible for the promotion. Adding insult to injury, Sprint doesn't even come close to giving their loyal customers a decent offer. T-Mobile may have jacked up it's prices, but they are at least providing their customers with incentives. AT&T and Verizon might be more expensive, but in exchange for reliability. This is nothing more than their old promotion being choked.
Sprint is so sad...
No one wants their terrible customer service, broken network and half baked promotions.
