Google Wallet for iOS Gets A Feature-Removing Makeover

Google has revised the Google Wallet app for the iPhone to put it in line with the re-imagined Wallet app that now appears on Android devices. The Google Wallet app is now a simple tool for managing the Google Wallet Card and making payments to individuals. Recipients need only have an email address to receive money, and funds can be transferred via debit card, bank account, or Google Wallet balance. Google Wallet for iOS no longer supports loyalty cards, gift cards, or Google Offers, which have been ported to Android Pay. (Android Pay has replaced Google Wallet on Android devices for making tap-and-go mobile payments.) Google Wallet for the iPhone is free to download from the iTunes App Store.
