Twitter More Prominently Suggesting Who to Follow

Article Comments

Sep 5, 2015, 5:15 AM   by Eric M. Zeman

Twitter has tweaked its Android and iOS mobile apps by adding "who to follow" suggestions directly to users' timelines. Twitter says it relies on a number of factors to determine the suggested accounts, including users' email and phone contacts, as well as what types of accounts they already follow. Twitter may also make suggestions based on the user's city/location. Twitter warns that it may include promoted accounts as suggestions, too. The update is available from the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store for free.
