RadioShack will join with three other phone distributors to form Braxda Telecom, an alliance for phone purchasing and service. RadioShack has typically only sold widely available carrier-customized handsets. This move could signal it intends to offer exclusive models on Cingular, or even Sprint, as it once did for Verizon.
