AT&T Gives GoPhones Account Management Tool
AT&T today improved its myAT&T service for GoPhone customers through the addition of an account management function. The improved service allows GoPhone customers to refill their accounts, add voice/messaging packages, and change their rate plans, as well as see voice/data usage and account history details. The service also includes device tutorials and troubleshooting tips. All these features can be found on the myAT&T app on GoPhones.
Verizon to Let Prepaid Customers Manage their Accounts Through My Verizon App
Verizon Wireless today said its prepaid customers will soon have access to the My Verizon account management tool. Beginning June 28, prepaid customers can download and use My Verizon to pay bills, set up auto-pay, add data, and perform other account-related tasks.
Google Simplifies Searching For Lost Phones
Google today made improvements to its My Accounts tool that should help people better manage their Google settings as well as their smartphone. Users can now access their account by saying, "Ok Google, show me my Google account" into the Google Search app.
AT&T Rolls Out Bogo for GoPhones
AT&T today announced that its GoPhone prepaid customers can buy one eligible phone and receive a second for free. The buy one, get one deal goes into effect July 22 and includes phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime or LG Phoenix 2.
AT&T Offers Discounts to Multi-Line GoPhone Plans
AT&T plans to offer small discounts to GoPhone plans with multiple lines. In order to score a discount, customers will need to chose either the $45 plan with 3 GB of data or the $60 plan with 6 GB of data.
AT&T and Verizon Change Up Prepaid Offerings
AT&T and Verizon Wireless have recently made changes to their respective prepaid services and taken dramatically different approaches in the process. AT&T's GoPhone customers now have more options than ever, while Verizon Wireless Prepaid customers have even fewer options.
