Microsoft Updates OneDrive for Windows Phone

Microsoft recently pushed out a small update to OneDrive for Windows Phone devices. The newest version of the app makes it possible to open files from OneDrive in other apps. OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud storage app, is free to download and use.

Just what it needed.

Great they updated something that no one uses. Good for them! They can update it all they want it will never compete with Google drive until they offer office 360 for free.
In what way do they need to offer their (completely unrelated) office suite to make their Cloud highly useful? I use mine all the time, and prefer it over GDrive and Dropbox. Much cleaner and easier to use.

Given that One Drive is built into MS Office 2013, it is widely used by users of that software, especially on college campuses.
