Update from Sprint Adds Wi-Fi Calling to Galaxy S4
Sprint today said a small software update being pushed to the tri-band Sprint Spark-compatible variant of the Galaxy S4 adds Wi-Fi calling. Wi-Fi calling is a free service and includes voice calls and messaging when connected to Wi-Fi networks. The Spark GS4 is the fourth handset to earn its Wi-Fi calling wings from Sprint. Sprint says it will add Wi-Fi calling to other devices in the coming months.
AT&T iPhone Owners Can Now Use WiFi Calling
AT&T today enabled WiFi calling on the iPhone. iPhone owners who've updated to iOS 9 can make and receive voice calls via WiFi rather than cellular networks.
Verizon Brings WiFi Calling to iPhone Via Message+ App
Verizon Wireless updated its Verizon Message+ app for iPhones, adding the ability to make phone calls over WiFi. In order for WiFi calling to work, Verizon iPhone owners will need to switch on the advanced calling function of their phone.

T-Mobile today announced T-Mobile Video Calling, a service that works with the native phone dialer of select handsets without requiring special apps. Like VoLTE and HD Voice, T-Mobile Video Calling can move easily between LTE and WiFi with no dropped video.

Verizon Wireless said the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be able to make WiFi-based voice and video calls beginning Dec. 8.
Sprint Adds Single-Number WiFi Calling with iOS 9.1
Sprint today said Apple's iOS 9.1 system update enables single-number calling across Apple devices when connected to WiFi. With iOS 9.1 installed, Sprint's iPhone customers will be able to make/receive calls from their primary number on the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch, or Mac computer.
