Dell today announced that in addition to the EV-DO laptops announced earlier this week, they will also move forward with plans to build laptops for Cingular's 3G network next year. Until the company can build HSDPA support into select laptops, they will offer an EDGE PC card for current buyers who wish to use Cingular's data network. Panasonic also announced they will begin selling an EDGE enabled laptop for Cingular's network. Additionally, Panasonic will offer a laptop with EV-DO for Sprint's new high speed network.
