Verizon Offering $20 Monthly Quad-Play Discount
Verizon today announced that customers of both its wireless and wireline services can receive $20 off their total monthly bill by combining accounts. In order to get the discount, customers must subscribe to Verizon Wireless and Verizon's FiOS triple-play bundle, which includes FiOS home internet, television, and home phone service. Customers will receive $10 off their wireless bill and $10 off their FiOS bill for a period of two years, providing a maximum discount of $480. The promotion is available starting today and it runs through April 19.
Verizon Zero-Rates Its Fios Mobile Video App
Verizon Wireless today said the company's Fios home internet and television customers can stream an unlimited amount of live and recorded shows over LTE without impacting their monthly data allotment. Specifically, Fios customers can use the Fios Mobile app on their smartphones and tablets to watch 140 channels of live television, movies, and stored DVR content.
Verizon to Reward Those Who Pair Wireless and FiOS Service
Verizon will give up to $500 to people who combine Verizon Wireless with Verizon FiOS service. People new to both companies will receive a $250 gift card and another $250 in the form of bill credits when switching to Verizon Unlimited and signing up for FiOS TV, internet, and phone service.
Verizon Brings DVR Streaming to FiOS App
Verizon today said some customers can now stream the content from their DVR to their phone, tablet, or PC no matter where they are. The new feature is available to customers who subscribe to Verizon's FiOS Quantum TV and FiOS Internet service.
AT&T Debuts Wireless/DirecTV Bundles
AT&T today rolled out combined wireless and television packages that rely on its recent acquisition of DirecTV. The basic package includes four wireless lines with unlimited talk and text with 10 GB of shared data and HD television service with up to four receivers (DirecTV or U-verse) for a combined price of $200 per month.
