AT&T Makes It Less Costly to Call and Message Other Countries
AT&T today tweaked its calling and messaging rates for reaching out from the U.S. to people in other countries. Beginning February 28, all Mobile Share and Mobile Share Value customers will be able to send unlimited international text messages for free. This feature will be applied automatically. Additionally, AT&T announced the World Connect Value plan, which lets AT&T customers call any number in more than 35 countries for 1¢ per minute. The World Connect Value plan is available to all AT&T customers for a base charge of $5 per month.
TextNow to Let Customers Call More than 150 Countries
TextNow today said it is adding support for international calling to more than 150 countries around the globe. Moreover, the cloud-based communications company will let customers earn credits towards their bill or international calls.

Sprint today improved its international roaming plan, making it cheaper and more appealing to customers. Sprint customers can now enjoy free 2G data, free text messaging, and $0.20-per-minute voice calls in some 165 countries.
