AT&T Graces Yet More Markets with LTE
AT&T today launched LTE 4G service in a handful of markets around the country. The new markets include El Centro, Calif.; Jasper and Huntingburg, Ind.; Danville, Richmond, and Somerset, Ky.; Benton Harbor, Buchanan, Cadillac, McBain, and Niles, Mich.; Tunica, Miss.; East Liverpool, Ohio; New Castle, Pa.; Farjado and Ponce, P.R.; Barre and Burlington, Vt.; Wheeling, W.Va.; and La Crosse, Wisc. AT&T's LTE 4G network covers more than 270 million Americans. AT&T will flesh out its coverage to 30 million more POPs by the end of the year until it reaches about 97% of Americans.
T-Mobile Updates Coverage Map with Customer Data
T-Mobile today unveiled a new coverage map that it claims is far more accurate than the maps offered by its competitors. T-Mobile is populating the map with data generated by its own customers.
Sprint LTE and Spark Footprints Continue to Grow
Sprint today launched LTE service in 24 new markets and Spark service in an additional 24 markets. The company's LTE footprint now reaches 270 million POPs, while its Spark footprint reaches 125 million POPs.

T-Mobile today said it has activated its first 600 MHz cell site in Cheyenne, Wyo. T-Mobile is using Nokia equipment to provide LTE coverage across Cheyenne in the 600 MHz band.
T-Mobile's LTE Network Covers 300 Million People
T-Mobile said its LTE 4G network now reaches 300 million Americans, a significant milestone for the Uncarrier. The company says it is ahead of schedule, and will add coverage to one million square miles this year.
