Moto Assist Given Better Driving Tools
Motorola today made an updated version of its Moto Assist application available to Motorola devices. The app now lets users reply to incoming SMS messages using just their voice. It is more accurate at detecting when the device is in a moving vehicle, and can automatically launch the owner's favorite music app when driving. The update also contains some bug fixes. Moto Assist is free to download from the Play Store.

Motorola Makes Moto Voice Available to 2013 Droids

Moto Voice, formerly Touchless Control, combines several of the key functions found on the 2013 Moto X, such as the Active Display, Google Now voice prompts, and Google Assist.
Motorola Pushing Lollipop to Moto X and Moto G
Motorola today said that owners of the second-generation Moto X and Moto G handsets can update their phones to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Motorola has made Lollipop available to the Moto X Pure Edition, Moto G GSM (U.S.), and Moto G GSM (Global) retail versions sold in the U.S.
Motorola Turns to Indiegogo to Kickstart Moto Mods Development
Motorola today said it has partnered with crowd-funding service Indiegogo in order to improve the selection of Moto Mods for its Z-series smartphones. Motorola is encouraging creators to share their Moto Mods ideas through its Moto Mods Developer contest.
