Universal To Offer Music-Themed Phones

Universal Music Group (UMG) is set to offer a line of mobile phones featuring content from their top artists. MoveU Mobile will include a phone with content from various UMG artist and access to additional UMG ringtones and wallpapers. It will be sold in through Wal-Mart and other chain retailers. There will also be a line of phones customized for specific artists sold through their websites. Each model is expected to sell for around $100. The phones are the first to gain service from SingleTouch, which is a new MVNO that uses Sprint's network.

Sprint?

Now I realize that CDMA is very efficient, and Sprint has an awful lot of spectrum...but another MVNO?
How come all of these MVNO's popping up left and right are starting to remind me of the .com craze a few years ago?! I wonder in 5 years how having a billion MVNO's will fare.
