Facebook for Windows Phone Gains Better Notifications
Microsoft today made available a revised version of Facebook for Windows Phone. The updated social networking app makes improvements to notifications, which are now pushed more regularly to the Live Tile. Facebook also added secondary Live Tiles, which let users pin specific events, groups, pages, or photo albums to the Start Screen. These secondary Live Tiles each support notifications for their respective function, separate from the main Live Tile. Facebook for Windows Phone now supports 50 languages, as well as stickers, and emoticons within messaging. Last, the app gains some reliability and performance tweaks. Microsoft has made available a new version of Facebook for the Windows Phone platform. The latest update to the social networking app mixes in several new features that were previously only available in the beta, as well as overhauls both the user experience and performance.
Instagram for Windows Grabs Huge Update
Facebook today announced three new apps for the Windows 10 platform, including a proper Instagram app for phones, and dedicated Facebook and Messenger apps for desktops. The Instagram app for Windows 10 Mobile includes features that have long been available only to the Android and iOS apps, including Instagram Direct, videos, the Explore tab, and more.

Facebook today said it is rolling out redesigned mobile notifications for its Android and iOS apps. Moving forward, people will be able to add important information to their notifications, all of which can be viewed in a single place in Facebook.
BBM Beta for Windows Phone Now Available
BlackBerry and Microsoft today announced the immediate availability of BBM for the Windows Phone platform. BBM is being offered as a beta, but it includes many of the features available to the Android and iOS versions of the app.
