Apple Given Second Chance to Ban Samsung Phones
A federal court of appeals today reversed the decision of a lower court and cleared the way for Apple to seek a ban on certain Samsung devices. A handful of Samsung devices were found to infringe on certain Apple patents at trial last year. Apple requested that the products be banned from import/sale in the U.S., but was denied that request. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said the lower court abused its discretion in denying Apple's request.
Court Says Samsung Phones Should Have Been Banned
An appeals court today said a lower court was wrong to deny Apple's request of an injunction against select Samsung smartphones. In May 2014, a jury awarded Apple $120 million in a case against Samsung concerning patents.

Appeals Court Says Samsung Didn't Copy Apple's Designs
A federal appeals court today reversed part of a verdict won by Apple against foe Samsung regarding its designs and patents. Apple alleged Samsung copied its iPhone designs, or "trade dress," as part of its 2011-2012 lawsuit.
It´s not whether the phone that will get banned are actually manufactured or even in the market anymore. It´s the fact that they will let Apple to get away with this facade.
